A new addition to our signature Bateko collection is the Lahara cushion. We have always looked to the nature for inspiration and Bateko collection heavily draws from it. 'Lahara' meaning vines in Nepali, where braiding dried leaves and barks are common practise, we like the fresh zesty colour in Lahara, paired with fun tassles and pom poms it invites playfulness and the artisan feel to your space. You'll love to regale your guests with the story of how this velvety-soft cushion was handcrafted in Nepal.
At a generous 60x40 cm size Lahara is sure to impress.
Fun fact, our felt is handmade from kilos of loose wool. So is the 'rope with veins' used in Lahara. Neither are machine made polyester ready-to-cut fabrics cut and sewn, nor do we call a slight scrubbed fabric a felt. Ours is a journey from fiber to fabric to the end product.
